It is strange building in Ontario, Canada. Located on Clifton Hill since 1963 the Canadian Niagaras Odditorium still holds on to the reputation as Niagara's best museum. The building is shaped like the Empire State Building fallen over, with King Kong standing on top of it.
As of 2010, there are over 30 "Ripley's Believe It or Not!" Odditoriums around the world. "Ripley's Believe It or Not!" is a franchise, founded by Robert LeRoy Riply (1890-1949), an American cartoonist, entrepreneur and amateur anthropologist.
The Ripley collection includes 20,000 photographs, 30,000 artifacts and more than 100,000 cartoon panels. With 80-plus attractions, the Orlando-based Ripley Entertainment, Inc., a division of the Jim Pattison Group, is a global company with an annual attendance of more than 12 million guests.
